It’s quick and easy to start following your favourite players’ matches with notifications and live scores directly on your lock screen. Follow these short steps to start using these features…
Select your favourite players
First, you will need to download the Tennis TV app on your mobile or tablet device and pick your favourite players to use these features.

Live scores on your lock screen
To start receiving live scores on your lock screen, please make sure you have downloaded version 5.9.7+ of the app. Then simply visit your device settings to allow this activity:
- On Apple devices, navigate to your device settings and search for Tennis TV or locate this under apps. Then tap Live Activities and select Allow Live Activities.
- On Android devices, visit Settings > Apps > Tennis TV and make sure the ‘All Tennis TV notifications’ switch is enabled. Expand the ‘Other’ drop-down menu to specify the types of notifications you would like to receive and turn these on/off as desired (Live Match Updates, Now Playing, etc). Tapping each notification will open up individual settings for sound and vibration so that this can be customised as you prefer.
- Or, you can wait until you see your first live notification appear and allow from the notification itself.
If you don’t want to receive lock screen updates, please follow the same steps as above and turn off this setting instead. You can also clear individual matches you don’t want to see if you choose by holding down or swiping on the live score update and selecting “Clear”. These can also be controlled via the live notification itself.
Please note, live scores will appear for all ATP and Grand Slam men’s singles matches – including matches not being shown on Tennis TV.
Live match notifications
You can also choose to receive live match alerts when your favourite players step out on court. To receive these, you will need to turn on notifications from Tennis TV by following the steps below:
- You should receive a prompt to allow notifications from Tennis TV when you download the app – please press Allow to start receiving these alerts.
- Or you can go to your settings on your Apple or Android device, search for Tennis TV and allow notifications.
You can choose to turn off notifications from your device settings at any time to avoid receiving live match alerts. If you don’t want to receive notifications for any specific players, you can unfollow them by visiting the settings on your mobile or tablet app.
This feature is only available for matches being shown on Tennis TV.
